Hi, I am Christina, and I am an experienced and warm Celebrant who has been officiating weddings across SE Qld and NSW for more than 16 years, and loving every minute of it. I am big on equality, and I love meeting people from all walks of life, ensuring their ceremony is reflective of their personalities, bond and stories. I am down to earth and strive to share the feeling of genuine happiness, love, and passion when I deliver a ceremony. 

I am a Danish native and I was drawn to Brisbane in pursuit of my lifelong Australian dream in 2003. After meeting my kiwi husband Wiki while backpacking in Egypt in 2000, we travelled the world extensively, living and working in several countries.  With just one backpack each and a few $100 bills in our pocket, Wiki and I arrived in Queensland and felt a deep connection to the special place that we had landed. Two weeks into, what was only supposed to be a yearlong road trip around Australia, we decided to stay and make Brisbane our home.  Our two awesome sons Lucas 17 and Levi 16 were born here, and for the past 20 years, we have continued to be grateful for living in such a beautiful and inspiring country.

My Achievements

I have been nominated for Queensland's Best Celebrant for the last 3 years, making the TOP10 in 2024. My little biz was independently rated by my couples out of 100% across four criteria, and I am so proud to have achieved a remarkable customer-rating of 99.44%. I made TOP12 in 2023 with a score of 98.90%.

I have also been recognised TOP10 at the 2023 and 2024 Wedding Industry Awards, Brisbane, and selected as winner at the Wedding Diaries Editor Choice Awards 2023 and 2024.
