First Step - Are we the right fit?

The first step is to meet and see if we’re the right fit for one another. This can be in person over a relaxed coffee or virtually if that’s easier for you. You’re very welcome to come to my home in Ferny Hills, where we can chat in a calm, welcoming space.  It’s a chance to get to know each other, share your love story, and start shaping the vision for your big day. Your story will be at the heart of your ceremony.

If you feel I’m the right celebrant for you, we can begin right away by completing the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and talking through the details. Together we’ll explore your ceremony structure, including family involvement, bridal party roles, rituals, vows and all the important logistics to make your day run seamlessly.

NOIM Lodgement

The very first legal step towards your wedding is completing the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM). This form must be lodged with me at least one month before your ceremony.

To prepare your NOIM, I’ll need to see the following original documents:

  • Birth certificates
  • Photo ID (driver licence or passport)
  • Divorce/Death certificate (if applicable)
  • A completed Questionnaire

Clear scans or good-quality photos sent by email are absolutely fine.

How we can meet.

I want the process to feel as easy and comfortable as possible, so you can choose how we do this:

In-person: You’re very welcome to come to my home in Ferny Hills. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space (and yes, I make a great coffee!). We can talk through everything, and if you decide I’m the celebrant for you, we can also complete your initial paperwork during our meeting.

Virtual: If you’re not nearby or life is just too busy, we can do everything online via email, phone, or video call. Even the signing of the NOIM can be done remotely, as I can legally witness your signature over Zoom.

Whichever way works best for you, I’ll make sure the process is smooth, stress-free, and clear.

Spruced Up Legals Only Ceremony Packages

A simple, no-fuss option designed for couples who just want to make it official. It’s you, your partner, and at least two witnesses. We’ll cover the legally required words, you can choose to exchange rings, complete the paperwork, and that’s it, short, sweet, and stress-free.  Perfect if you’ve already celebrated overseas, are planning something low-key, or simply want the legal side taken care of here in Australia.  If you are eloping in secret, I am more than happy to provide two witnesses so your nuptials stay just between us.

A warm, intimate space for heartfelt “I do’s”

If you dream of a small, meaningful celebration filled with love rather than fuss, my deck in Ferny Hills is the perfect place to begin your married life. It is a cosy, leafy space designed for micro weddings and elopements with up to fifteen of your favourite people, or just the two of you if you are keeping things beautifully quiet.

I adore hosting ceremonies on my deck. I take great joy in setting it up and making it pretty for you, lighting candles everywhere, playing your chosen playlist and creating an atmosphere that feels soft, romantic and entirely yours. There is plenty of free parking, and all you need to do is arrive, be celebrated and float off afterwards for lunch or dinner to continue the festivities.

If you are eloping in secret, I am more than happy to provide two witnesses so your nuptials stay just between us.

Whether you are planning a tiny wedding, a heartfelt elopement or a quiet moment to honour your love, The Deck offers an affordable, beautiful and deeply personal way to say your vows.

Your ceremony can be delivered with selected moments in Danish or Swedish for cultural impact. This is a beautiful way to honour family, heritage and connection. Every moment is crafted with warmth, authenticity and a storyteller’s heart, creating a celebration that feels both ancient and modern.

A fully personalised Nordic inspired ceremony script Written and delivered by me, blending Norse elements with contemporary storytelling and gentle humour.

Choose any combination of rituals to create a ceremony that feels uniquely yours.

Handfasting

Mead Blessing
