First Step - Are we the right fit?

The first step is to meet and see if we’re the right fit for one another. This can be in person over a relaxed coffee or virtually if that’s easier for you. You’re very welcome to come to my home in Ferny Hills, where we can chat in a calm, welcoming space.  It’s a chance to get to know each other, share your love story, and start shaping the vision for your big day. Your story will be at the heart of your ceremony.

If you feel I’m the right celebrant for you, we can begin right away by completing the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and talking through the details. Together we’ll explore your ceremony structure, including family involvement, bridal party roles, rituals, vows and all the important logistics to make your day run seamlessly.

NOIM Lodgement

The very first legal step towards your wedding is completing the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM). This form must be lodged with me at least one month before your ceremony.

To prepare your NOIM, I’ll need to see the following original documents:

• Birth certificates
• Photo ID (driver licence or passport)
• Divorce/Death certificate (if applicable)
• A completed Questionnaire

Clear scans or good-quality photos sent by email are absolutely fine.

How we can meet.

I want the process to feel as easy and comfortable as possible, so you can choose how we do this:

• In-person: You’re very welcome to come to my home in Ferny Hills. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space (and yes, I make a great coffee!). We can talk through everything, and if you decide I’m the celebrant for you, we can also complete your initial paperwork during our meeting.
• Virtual: If you’re not nearby or life is just too busy, we can do everything online via email, phone, or video call. Even the signing of the NOIM can be done remotely, as I can legally witness your signature over Zoom.

Whichever way works best for you, I’ll make sure the process is smooth, stress-free, and clear.
