Can my dogs get married?

Can my dogs get married? Absolutely!

It wasn't exactly love at first sight when our Pug Sylvia Valentine spotted Amadeus Che in Bunnings two years ago, but they have worked on their relationship, and we are now proud to call Amadeus family. He is such a loving young Pug, and now we are very happy to share the news that we are expecting. 🥳😍  Well, to be clear, our pug Sylvia is. Can you believe it? We are going to be grandparents! Yay!

After one unsuccessful attempt to get her pregnant the ol’ fashion way, we went with the artificial insemination option at the impressive Queensland Veterinary Specialists in Stafford. Now, that was an experience and a half, but is another story for another day.
Since Sylvia and her love, Amadeus had gotten pregnant out of wedlock, his parents, my husband, and I decided that a wedding was in order to make honest dogs out of them. I am a celebrant after all, so that was a no brainer, and a little bit of fun!
Yesterday was a day full of love and laughs, and the day our darlings got married in an intimate ceremony on our deck. Sylvia Valentine and Amadeus Che said Woof to each other and sealed the deal with a sniff and some dog friendly wedding cake.
Sylvia’s due date is 4 October 2023, so watch this space for some cute fluffy potato updates.
